Introduction to PCP Systems and PC-PUMP® Software Training

Synopsis

Progressing cavity pumping systems have emerged as a common form of artificial lift. System selection and operating practices play key roles in ensuring that a PCP system provides reliable and economical performance.

To assist operators implementing this technology, this introductory three-day course focuses on fundamentals, design and operation of PCP systems. This course is based on knowledge, information and experience gained through numerous field studies, lab investigations and a major joint industry project over the last 20 years.

This course also includes hands-on training with PC-PUMP®, software developed by C-FER for the interactive design and evaluation of progressing cavity pumping systems.

Audience

This three-day course has been developed for engineers and other personnel who deal with the design and operation of downhole progressing cavity pumping systems. This includes field operators, completion and production technologists, and the staff of equipment manufacturers and vendors.
